We confirmed with UTOPIA engineers that the issue was a router reboot on their data center gear at a regional data center. Service was impacted for UTOPIA customers for approximately 7 minutes. We do not anticipate further issues with this connection as a result of this incident.

Identified -
Network engineers determined there was an issue with one of utopia's core routers at a regional data center. The issue with this device caused customers using Utopia fiber to lose connectivity for approximately 7 minutes.
At this point all customer service should be restored. We are continuing to work with their engineering team to identify the underlying cause of the issue and will continue to post updates as we receive them.
